About Sang-Hoon Ahn MD, MPH
Dr. Sang-Hoon Ahn was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1994.
He completed training in Family Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital and completed fellowship training in Cancer Prevention at the National Cancer Center in Korea.
After moving to the Unites States in 2002, Dr. Ahn completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Arizona.
He later served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona specializing in gastrointestinal cancers and Phase I clinical trials.
In 2018, he joined Keck Medicine of USC as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine to further expand access to advanced cancer care and clinical trials for community patients. He currently serves as a medical oncologist with USC providing cancer care through a leading university medical center.
Ahn Medical seeks to bridge the expertise of academic medical centers with the personalized care of a community primary care practice, providing patients with a more coordinated, comprehensive, and integrated healthcare experience.
Starting in 2026, Dr. Sang-Hoon Ahn opened Ahn Medical' to provide broader, more comprehensive care as an oncology informed primary care physician spanning chronic disease management, cancer prevention, cancer treatment guidance, survivorship care, and long term wellness.
